Portoscuso è un comune della provincia di Carbonia - Iglesias. E' un piccolo centro affacciato sul mare, distante 80 km da Cagliari. Conta circa cinquemila abitanti. La costa si alterna fra spiagge e scogli. Il porto, fra i più moderni della zona, ospita 400 posti barca di varia grandezza. La torre saracena e la Tonnara sono alcuni aspetti storici del paese.

Portoscuso is a town-hall in the province of Carbonia-Iglesias. It is a small toun with 5000 habitants, situated at the seaside. The closest big city is Cagliary, ca.80km of fast road. The coast is various with wonderful beaches and rocks really selvage. The modern tourist harbour can host ca. 400 boats. Of historical interest you can visit the Saracen tower of the Tonnara – the old sea of tuna fishing.
